GN Store Nord lifts 2026 profit outlook to 9–10%

GN Store Nord raised its full-year earnings guidance on Wednesday evening after what the company calls strong improvements in the second quarter of 2026. At the same time, the Danish audio and hearing group narrowed its outlook for organic revenue growth.

The announcement came alongside the company’s second-quarter report, published on August 19, 2026. According to Avisen Danmark, citing Ritzau, GN Store Nord now expects an adjusted profit margin of 9 to 10 percent for the year, up from the previous range of 8 to 9 percent.

In the same update, the company lowered the top end of its growth outlook. Organic revenue growth is now guided at 0 to 3 percent, against 0 to 6 percent previously. GN states that strong improvements in the second quarter, and an assumption of continued improvements in the second half of 2026, lie behind both changes.

The quarterly figures

Revenue in the second quarter was 2,171 million kroner, a decline of 6 percent compared with the same period a year earlier. The interim report, published in English via Yahoo Finance, puts adjusted EBITA for continuing operations at 110 million kroner. That corresponds to a margin of 5.1 percent, down from 7.1 percent in the second quarter of 2025.

The same report shows group gross margin for continuing operations rising to 52.1 percent, from 50.4 percent in the 2025 quarter. GN attributes the improvement to pricing and product mix. Management links the lower EBITA margin to front-loaded channel investments tied to product launches.

GN titled the interim report around the reception of its Evolve3 headsets and gross margin improvement, which it describes as boding well for the second half of 2026. BT also reported the guidance change on Wednesday, reproducing the company’s explanation that the second quarter and expected further gains in the second half justify the move.

Background to the guidance

The previous ranges were set on May 6, 2026. In that announcement, GN updated its 2026 guidance after deciding to treat the Hearing business as discontinued operations. Guidance for continuing operations was then put at 0 to 6 percent organic revenue growth and an adjusted EBITA margin of 8 to 9 percent.

The May announcement also set out cost initiatives. GN said these were aimed at around 200 million kroner in structural cost savings, measured as a run-rate benefit compared with 2026. The company expects those savings to support margins from 2027 onward.

The Wednesday update therefore represents an upward revision to the margin outlook and a narrowing of the growth range for the current year. GN Store Nord is listed in Copenhagen and is among the companies followed closely by those investing in stocks in Denmark.
