Philip Denié Dahl Petersen received an indefinite preventive detention sentence in February 2024 for murder. The crime occurred on June 8, 2022, during a violent confrontation outside a bar in Sydhavnen, a district of Copenhagen.
The 31-year-old victim was fatally stabbed with a kitchen knife. Petersen was also convicted of attempted murder of a then 37-year-old man in connection with the same incident.
