Christian Folden Lund, the newly appointed group CEO of the European live entertainment company All Things Live, turns 50 on August 20, 2026. He marks the birthday a few months into the new job.
Avisen Danmark profiled him on his birthday, in an article distributed by the news agency Ritzau. Looking back on his career, Folden Lund says everything he has done led up to the new position.
He tells the paper that fiction works as his personal mood gauge. When things are going well, he gets through more novels, and literature functions as a pause from the job. He describes himself as curious and engaged, with an urge to create.
All Things Live announced the appointment on May 29, 2026, according to the company’s own news page. He took over as group CEO on June 1, 2026, succeeding Gry Mølleskog, who is retiring after four years in the role. The company describes itself as a leading independent live entertainment group in Europe, working with concerts, festivals, comedy, corporate events, artist management and booking.
VIP-Booking, summarizing the company announcement, notes that he came to the job from the position of CEO at Bellagroup, one of Denmark’s largest hospitality companies. The same outlet reports that he has previously held director roles at Nordisk Film and Bonnier, and has sat on several Danish and international boards.
In a post published on May 29, 2026, Folden Lund wrote that the move also meant stepping down as chairman of the Roskilde Festival Foundation after almost ten years.
The pandemic years
Speaking to Avisen Danmark, he points to the period after the coronavirus pandemic arrived in 2020 as decisive. At the time he was a director at Bellagroup, chairman of the Roskilde Festival foundation and a board member at a travel agency. Juggling three positions hit by the global situation was, in his words, a completely wild time.
Getting Bellagroup through the pandemic is the greatest professional satisfaction he has experienced, he tells the paper. Afterward it became clear to him that he wanted a job creating more gathering points for people. He says the position at All Things Live gives him that opportunity.
Away from work, his house in Charlottenlund is full of lycra, he says. He follows cycling closely and rides with friends. The rest of his free time goes to his wife and three children, who are also the ones he is celebrating his birthday with, once the first owners’ meeting at All Things Live is over.
A profile published by Kristeligt Dagblad in 2022 states that he was born in Copenhagen on August 20, 1976. According to a 2024 profile by Altinget, he holds a degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen, completed in 2003.
