Danish farmer Charlotte Daabeck confirmed on TV 2’s dating show “Landmand søger kærlighed” that she is in love with her suitor Per. She has also revealed that the couple have moved in together on her farm in Bovrup.
In Tuesday’s episode, host Sofie Martinusen asked Daabeck directly whether she was in love, and she confirmed that she was. According to Avisen Danmark, Per was present at her property in Bovrup in Southern Jutland during filming.
The same episode showed Per joking with Daabeck’s father. He handed him a packet of throat lozenges called “Væk i morgen”, a reference to the father moving out so Per could move in. Later, sitting on a tractor, the pair discussed future projects, including a new roof for the house.
Daabeck told Se & Hør on Wednesday that she and Per have now moved in together, Avisen Danmark reports. The teasing gift did not have the intended effect, however. Her father still lives in the house alongside the couple.
What other outlets report
Billed-Bladet reported on August 18 that the two became a couple after filming ended. Per officially moved onto the farm on August 1, 2026, according to the magazine. Billed-Bladet also notes that Daabeck’s father remains in the house, and that the three share meals as a small family.
Background from JydskeVestkysten, published on June 30, described Daabeck as a 29-year-old farmer taking part in this season of the TV 2 program. She was presented as looking for love on the farm together with her father. Her father Iver was originally also meant to feature in the format, ALT.dk reported in July.
Daabeck drew attention earlier in the season with an unusual decision. In a July episode, she sent three of her four suitors home immediately after a group date and continued only with Per, ALT.dk reported on July 21. JydskeVestkysten described the move as a break with the program’s usual premise, since the selection normally happens later.
The timing of the announcement follows TV 2’s broadcast schedule for the 2026 season. Her early choice of Per aired in July, while the August episodes show her giving an on-air status update on the relationship. Billed-Bladet published the details of the move-in on August 18, in connection with the latest episode.
Outside the Danish TV spotlight, Daabeck’s family is known locally for a large Halloween maze in its cornfields in Bovrup. According to the family’s Facebook page, the maze opens on August 29 and stays open until Halloween, with pumpkins also sold on the property.
