Become a Writer and Tell Your Stories

Do you have stories to tell about living in Denmark? Can you write compelling news stories and stories about life in Denmark?

What we offer: 

• Be Heard. On the Danish Dream, you get an opportunity to cover Danish news stories as well as topics relevant to the expat community in Denmark.
• Strengthen your CV. Improve your Danish CV through writing. Your name will be on the articles, and this will make you discoverable to a wider audience in Denmark. 
• Promotional Platform. As a contributor at the Danish Dream, you can use our platform to integrate your own content or videos, as long as it’s relevant for the expat community in Denmark.  
• Fully Remote. You can write for the Danish Dream from your bed or a cafe. You decide. 
  
• In Your Time. You write when you have the time, and when inspiration hits you. No deadlines. 

Requirements:

• Fluent English. You need to write and proofread your articles in perfect English (American or British).  
• Responsible Writing. You need to fact-check your sources and adhere to the Danish Dream’s internal ethical guidelines in accordance with Pressenævnet’s guidelines for good journalism.
• Commitment. You need to commit to a minimum number of written articles. You cannot be a writer and not write anything.  
• Self-Guided. You need to be self-motivated and self-guided. The assistance you will receive will be minimal, and you will be expected to deliver high-quality articles independently.
