The family of 27-year-old teacher and influencer Camilla Erbs Dohn will bury her on Friday at Vamdrup Kirke, nine days after she died in a motorcycle crash near Vejen.
Avisen Danmark reports that Camilla Erbs died on August 5, 2026, in a motorcycle accident near Veerst by Vejen in southern Jutland. She leaves behind two children, six-year-old Alfred and four-year-old Ida-Sophia. The funeral is set for Friday, August 14, at 1 p.m. at Vamdrup Kirke, where she was baptized.
According to the same reporting, the family gathered this week in her home in Haderslev to remember her. Her mother, Selvi Erbs Christensen, described her as a mother who did everything for her children. Her father, Jens Erbs Christensen, said she wanted to show life as it was, not a polished picture.
Camilla Erbs trained as a teacher at UC Syd in Haderslev and worked at Vejen Friskole. She was due to start on September 1 at a special-needs school in Taps, closer to her family in Vamdrup. The motorcycle ride was a birthday present from a colleague at the school, and it was redeemed on the morning of August 5.

The family told Avisen Danmark that messages, flowers and food have arrived since the crash. Instead of flowers, donations for her two children can be made via MobilePay to 2991 4318. Her partner, Rasmus Nielsen, said one collection goes to a locked account for the children’s adult lives, the other to support their upbringing.
The family said the decoration in Vamdrup Kirke will be colorful. Her uncle, Arne Erbs, said pink, gold and purple were chosen because purple was her favorite color.
