For years, Camilla Lindemann was celebrated for her independence. After two marriages and a long relationship, she had lived alone for 20 years and truly enjoyed it. But Lindemann’s story reminds others that companionship can still appear later in life. She says she never gave up entirely on the thought of love. She stayed open—even if she no longer believed it would happen.
